Meet Jodie Shannon
I’m Jodie Shannon, the founder of The Menopause Health & Wellness Clinic and MenopauseClinician.com, and I guide women in their 40s, 50s and 60s through the emotional and physical transitions of peri and post-menopause.
My journey here wasn’t linear.
As a senior clinical executive, I spent decades over-giving supporting everyone but myself, sacrificing my health, and silencing my emotional needs just to survive. It wasn’t until I had a breakdown at work that I realised something had to change.
“I wasn’t listening to my body—so it screamed at me until I did.”
At that point, life felt like an impossible juggling act. I was divorced, supporting adult children, caring for ageing parents, and working long hours in a demanding role—all while navigating menopause.
I kept telling myself to just keep putting one foot in front of the other, believing everything would be fine if I just worked harder.
But my body—and my spirit—had other plans.
My Turning Point
I no longer lead from burnout.
I no longer say yes to be safe.
I no longer dilute my voice to be seen.
I call this the age of Wise Grace.
The Menopause Health & Wellness Clinic
Today, I’ve woven my 30+ years of nursing and clinical leadership into a holistic approach that honours the emotional, physical, and energetic dimensions of menopause.
Through The Menopause Health & Wellness Clinic, I provide:
➔ A trusted first point of contact for women experiencing symptoms of peri and post-menopause, where we explore assessments and options before speaking with a GP—if that’s what they choose.
➔ A compassionate, safe space where midlife women can feel emotionally seen and energetically understood.
➔ Evidence-based tools and resources that demystify menopause and help women reconnect with their inner wisdom and intuition.
➔ A reimagined model of midlife leadership—rooted in calm, emotional clarity, and graceful power.

A Little More About Me
When I’m not guiding women through their own transformations, you’ll find me at the gym doing reformer pilates — which I absolutely love (who would have thought the gym could be fun!).
I also enjoy a little adult colouring-in as a creative way to unwind, catching up with my adult children, and recharging my energy outdoors — soaking up the sunlight with a warm cup of tea or coffee in hand.
I’m endlessly curious about what helps women feel truly alive — body, mind, and spirit — and I believe every conversation has the potential to spark healing and change.
